When I use margarine in bars, I use Fleishman’s, the lesser of all evils out there. Butter contains a lot of fat and saturated fat, which I prefer to avoid. Some recipes do need butter and are just better, so then I make an exception. It is purely your choice. That being said, everything in moderation is key.
