Everyone in our family loves these bars!
You can also make with Cheerios instead of Rice Krispies (a bit healthier too).
1 c. white sugar
1 c. light colored corn syrup
1 c. peanut butter
6 c. Rice Krispies cereal (or Cheerios cereal)
6 oz. butterscotch chips
6 oz. dark or semi-sweet chocolate chips
In medium sauce pan, mix sugar and syrup; boil.
Stir in peanut butter. Take off stove and mix in Rice Krispies.
Press into a greased 9 x 13" pan. Use a greased flat spatula to press down to get an even flat top..
In a small sauce pan, melt chips on low heat, stirring constantly and spread on top of bars.
Cool and cut.
