1-1/2 c. all-purpose unbleached white flour
1/2 c. butter, softened
1/4 c. brown sugar
3 eggs
3/4 c. light corn syrup
3/4 c. white sugar
2 Tbls. butter, melted
1 t. vanilla
pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chunks
1-1/2 c. coarsely chopped pecans
Crust: Mix flour, butter and brown sugar until crumbly. Press into a greased 9 x 13 x 2 inch baking pan.
Bake at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes, or until lightly browned.
While baking, start to make filling, then when crust is done baking, top with filling.
Filling: Beat eggs, corn syrup, sugar, butter and vanilla with a mixer or wire whisk. Stir in chunks and nuts. Pour evenly over baked crust.
Bake at 350 degrees for 25-20 minutes or until set. Cool in pan on wire rack. Cut into bars.
