1/4 lb. fresh snow peas, trimmed and cooked
1/4 lb. fresh asparagus, cut into 1-inch pieces
3/4 c. cooked brown or white rice (cooked in water or chicken broth)
1 t. sesame oil
1-1/2 t. Kikkoman low-sodium soy sauce
1-1/2 Tbls. sesame seeds, toasted
3 green onions, chopped
1/8 t. crushed red pepper flakes
Steam or cook snow peas and asparagus in the microwave for 2-3 minutes, just until tender-crisp.
Whisking together the sesame oil and soy sauce.
In a large serving bowl, toss the rice with the sesame oil and soy sauce mixture.
Stir in the snow peas, asparagus and sesame seeds and toss to combine.
Sprinkle with green onions and red-pepper flakes.
