Made Christmas 2025
If you have a favorite brownie recipe for a 9-inch round pan, feel free to use it.
1/2 c. canola oil
1/2 c. white sugar
1 t. vanilla extract
2 eggs
1/2 c. unbleached all-purpose white flour
1/3 c. cocoa powder
1/4 t. baking powder
1/4 t. salt
1/2 c. chocolate chips
2 Tbls. chocolate chips or Ghirardelli melting wafers
16 mini pretzels
16 candy googly eyes
8 red M&Ms
Grease a round 9-inch baking pan.
In a medium bowl, whisk together oil, sugar and vanilla. Then beat in eggs.
In another medium bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt.
Transfer dry ingredients into the wet ingredients. Stir with a wooden spoon or spatula until well blended. Fold in chocolate chips.
Transfer the batter to the prepared pan and spread evenly.
Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25r minutes (check after 20 minutes), don’t overbake.
Allow to cool completely.
Cut into 8 equal triangles.
Decorating: Melt chocolate chips or wafers and use a toothpick to apply it to the back of the pretzels, candy googly eyes and M&Ms and place on the brownies to mimic a reindeer. Allow the chocolate to harden and enjoy.
