1 c. butter
2 c. white sugar
4 eggs
4-5 (1 oz.) packets of unsweetened pre-melted chocolate (see note below)
2 t. vanilla
1 c. all-purpose unbleached white flour
1/2 c. chopped walnuts, optional
1 c. chocolate chips, optional
Thoroughly cream butter and sugar; add eggs and beat well. Blend in chocolate, vanilla and flour by hand. Mix nuts into batter.
Pour into a greased and floured 9x13” pan.
Bake at 325 degrees for 30 minutes.
