Cream Cheese Frosting
Cream Cheese Frosting

Good on banana, carrot or any cake

Ingredients
  • 8 oz. low-fat cream cheese, room temperature

  • 4 Tbls. butter, softened

  • 1 t. vanilla

  • 1 Tbls. milk

  • 4 c. powdered sugar

Instructions

In a medium bowl, beat cream cheese and butter on low speed; add milk and vanilla and mix until smooth.

Gradually beat in powdered sugar, 1 cup at a time until smooth and spreading consistency.

NOTE: Frosts a 9 x 13-inch cake with a thick layer of frosting. You may want to scale down the recipe a bit if you prefer less frosting.
