1-1/2 c. pitted sweet cherries (or 12 oz. pkg. frozen)
1/2 c. cabernet sauvignon or other dry red wine (Merlot)
1/4 c. cherry preserves (Smucker’s Real Fruit)
1 Tbls. Amaretto liqueur
2 t. fresh lemon juice
2 cups low-fat frozen vanilla yogurt (1/2 cup each)
Combine first 3 ingredients in a small saucepan, bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer 5 minutes, stirring frequently. Stir in Amaretto liqueur and lemon juice.
Serve warm over frozen yogurt.
