a.k.a. Salsa
This makes a HUGE batch and will feed a crowd!
Ingredients
1 can hominy
1 can white shoe peg corn
1 can black beans or black-eyed peas
3 green onions (use most of onion), chopped
3 tomatoes, chopped
1 (4 oz.) can green chilies
1 bunch cilantro, chopped
24 oz. Pace Picante sauce (medium)
1/2 t. garlic powder
8 oz. bottle zesty Italian dressing
tostito chips
Instructions
Rinse and drain hominy, corn and black beans (or black-eyed peas).
Combine all ingredients in a large bowl.
Serve with your favorite tostito chips.
NOTE: Hominy is “tex-mex” and found in the ethnic section or near the beans in grocery stores.
You could also substitute black beans for the black-eyed peas.
