The best sangria! The fruit is delicious to eat as well.
2 bottles red Spanish table wine (use inexpensive)
1 c. brandy
1/2 c. Grand Marnier (or triple sec)
1 c. orange juice
1 c. pomegranate juice
1/2 c. simple syrup, or more to taste
orange slices
apple slices
blackberries
nectarine slices
To make simple syrup, mix equal parts sugar and water, heated until sugar dissolves, then, cool.
Mix all the ingredients together and let stand in a tightly sealed container or pitcher for at least 24 hours in the refrigerator before serving.
