I grew up with this dish. Inexpensive to feed 7 kids and was a family favorite!
My dad loved this!
1 lb. ground sirloin or ground chuck
garlic salt and pepper, to taste
1 can Campbell's tomato soup
16 oz. can Bush's original baked beans (do not drain)
1/2 lb. elbow macaroni (I use whole wheat)
In a large fry pan, brown ground beef. Season with garlic salt and pepper, to taste.
While beef if cooking, start to boil water for the noodles. When water reaches a boil, add noodles and cook according to package directions. When done, drain and set aside.
After ground beef is cooked through, drain the fat.
Add tomato soup, beans and cooked noodles. Stir and warm through.
