Adding yogurt gives this a creamier texture.

They were created by Dr. Maximillian Bircher for his patients in Zurich because it helps to slow digestion and feel fuller, longer.
1 c. rolled or old-fashioned oats
1 c. milk (any kind)
1 Tbls. chia seeds
1/2 c. diced ripe pear (bartlet or bosc)
2 Tbls. honey
1 t. cinnamon
1/2 t. vanilla extract
4 Tbls. Chobani vanilla-cinnamon, vanilla or plain non-fat yogurt
chopped pecans, optional
In a large jar or bowl, combine oats, milk, chia seeds, diced pear, honey, cinnamon and vanilla.
Cover and refrigerate overnight. Stir or shake after refrigerating for 1 hour.
In the morning, stir in yogurt and garnish with chopped pecans if desired.
