These creamy overnight oats are loaded with tangy cherries and crunchy almonds, the perfect combination.
2/3 c. rolled oats (not instant)
4 t. chia seeds
pinch of salt
3 t. maple syrup
2-4 drops almond extract (to your liking)
1-1/4 c. almond milk (regular milk is fine)
1 Tbls. dried cherries (I use from Door County)
2 Tbls. sliced almonds,
2 Tbls. dried cherries (I use from Door County)
In a small bowl, combine oats, chia seeds, salt maple syrup, almond extract, milk, and 1 tablespoon dried cherries.
Transfer to a jar or covered container. Refrigerate overnight.
To serve, top with sliced almonds and dried cherries.
