Overnight Oats: Banana Bread

Tastes like Banana Bread
Especially yummy topped with mini chocolate chips, chopped walnuts, a dollop of peanut butter and slice bananas

Ingredients
  • 1 c. rolled oats

  • 1 c. almond milk (regular milk is fine)

  • 2/3 c. plain low-fat Greek yogurt

  • small banana, smashed

  • 1 Tbls. honey or maple syrup

  • 2 t. chia seeds

  • 1 t. cinnamon

  • 1 t. vanilla extract

  • ΒΌ t. salt

Topping Choices
  • chopped walnuts

  • mini chocolate chips

  • banana slices or small pieces

  • dollop of peanut butter

Instructions

In a bowl, add the rolled oats, milk, plain yogurt, smashed banana, honey or maple syrup, chia seeds, cinnamon, vanilla extract and salt.

Pour the oats into a container or glass jar and seal with a lid.

Place in the refrigerator overnight to let oats absorb all the liquid.

In the morning, give it a quick stir. Add toppings of your choice, if desired, and serve.
