20 oz. can pineapple chunks (save juice)
1/2 c. white sugar
2 Tbls. cornstarch
1/3 c. orange juice
1 Tbls. fresh lemon juice
3-4 unpeeled apples, chopped (red and green combo)
2 bananas, sliced
11 oz. can mandarin oranges, drained
1/2 c. green grapes, halved
1/2 c. red grapes, halved
Drain pineapple, reserving 3/4 cup juice.
In a saucepan, combine sugar and cornstarch. Add 3/4 c.pineapple juice, orange juice and lemon juice. Cook and stir over med-heat until thickened and bubbly; cook and stir 1 minute longer. Remove from heat; set aside.
In a bowl, combine pineapple chunks, oranges, apples, bananas and grapes. Pour warm sauce over the fruit; stir gently to coat.
Cover and refrigerate.
