1/2 c. melted butter
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. fresh or frozen cranberries
1/2 c. chopped nuts
20 oz. can pineapple tidbits, drained – Save Juice
1 pkg. yellow cake mix
3 eggs
1-1/4 c. pineapple juice
1/4 c. canola oil
Pour melted butter into a 9 x 13-inch baking pan. Sprinkle with brown sugar, cranberries, nuts and pineapple.
In a mixing bowl, using an electric mixer, mix cake mix with eggs, oil and pineapple juice.
Pour into prepared pan and bake 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes. Cool 10 minutes in pan and invert onto serving platter.
When ready to serve, cut into squares and top each with a spoon of Cool Whip if desired.
