Coleslaw: Oriental

This makes a large batch. If you only want to serve about 4-6 people, cut this recipe in half.

Ingredients
  • 16 oz. pkg. coleslaw with carrots

  • 2 bunches green onions, sliced

  • 1 c. slivered almonds, toasted

  • 2 pkgs. Ramen soy sauce flavored noodles, broken up small (save seasoning packets for dressing))

  • 1 c. salted sunflower seeds

  • 1 c. chow mein noodles

Dressing
  • 1 c. Bertoli extra light olive oil

  • 1/3 c. rice vinegar

  • 1/2 c. sugar

  • 2 pkgs. seasoning from Ramen noodles (soy sauce flavor, previously oriental flavor)

Instructions

Mix all ingredients for dressing and refrigerate overnight.

Toast almonds at 300 degrees for 10 minutes; cool.

When ready to serve, mix ingredients for coleslaw in a large bowl. Pour on dressing and toss to coat.
