1-1/2 lbs. ground sirloin
1 c. chopped onion
2 garlic cloves, minced
½ c. plain bread crumbs
1 large egg, slightly beaten
¼ c. ketchup
¼ c. fresh chopped parsley (or 4 t. dried parsley)
2 Tbls. parmesan cheese, grated
¾ c. (3 oz.) white cheddar cheese, diced into small cubes
1 Tbls. prepared horseradish
1 Tbls. Dijon mustard
¾ t. dried oregano
¼ t. salt
¼ t. course ground pepper
1/4 c. ketchup
Sauté onion for about 5 minutes, until soft; add garlic and heat another minute.
Transfer to a large bowl. Add bread crumbs, egg, ¼ c. ketchup, parsley, parmesan cheese, cubes of white cheddar cheese, horseradish, Dijon mustard, oregano, salt and pepper. Mix in ground sirloin shape into 6 (4 x 2-inch) loaves. Refrigerate a couple of hours before baking.
Transfer to a baking dish coated with cooking spray. Spread approximately 2 teaspoons of additional ketchup on top of each loaf.
Bake at 400 degrees for about 30-40 minutes or until nicely browned and cooked through.
