1/2 c. butter
1 pkg. caramels (14 oz.), unwrapped
1/4 c. chopped pecans
1 Tbls. milk
1 Tbls. rum
Apples, cut up
In 2 qt. saucepan, melt butter and caramel over low heat; stir occasionally until caramels are melted (12-15 minutes). Stir in pecans, milk and rum. Stir vigorously to incorporate butter.
Keep warm (small crock pot or fondue pot).
Serve with your favorite apples.
