6 cups torn mixed salad greens
2 medium apples, chopped
1/2 c. raisins
1/2 c. green grapes, halved
3 Tbls. chopped walnuts, toasted
2 Tbls. crumbled goat cheese
2 Tbls. olive oil
4-1/2 t. good balsamic vinegar (18 yr or older)
1 Tbls. honey
1-1/2 t. fresh lemon juice
1 clove garlic, minced
In a large salad bowl, combine the greens, apples, raisins and grapes.
Dressing: In a container with a tight-fitting lid, combine the oil, vinegar, honey, lemon juice and garlic; shake well.
Or use a small bowl and stir with a wire whisk.
Pour dressing over salad and toss to coat.
Sprinkle with walnuts and goat cheese. Serve immediately.
