Apple Crisp Pizza
Ingredients
  • Pastry for a single crust (Pillsbury Ready-made pie crust in a red box)

  • 4 medium baking apples

  • 2/3 c. sugar

  • 3 Tbls. all-purpose unbleached white flour

  • 1 t. cinnamon

  • vanilla ice cream

  • 10 caramels + 2 Tbls. milk

Topping
  • 1/2 c. all-purpose unbleached white flour

  • 1/3 c. oatmeal

  • 1/4 c. soft butter

  • 1/3 c. brown sugar

  • 1/2 t. cinnamon

Instructions

Roll pastry to fit a 12-inch pizza pan. Peal apples and cut into 1/2" slices.

Combine sugar, flour and cinnamon; add apples and toss. Arrange apples in a single layer in a circular pattern to completely cover pastry.

Combine topping ingredients; sprinkle over apples.

Bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes, or until apples are tender. Remove from oven.

Melt caramels and milk in microwave safe dish for about 90 seconds; stir after 60 seconds. When caramel is smooth, drizzle on top of warm pizza.

Serve warm with ice cream. Slice like a pizza to serve.
